Community Plant Walk

Hey friends, we’ve all been so busy lately we  haven’t got around to posting, but we’re hosting a plant walk next Saturday! 🥳 We’re planning to all meet up on June 29th at 4:30 PM at the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail, that’s next Saturday! This event is open to the public and FREE of charge, but registration is required to secure your spot. I’ll be bringing everyone a scavenger hunt like always, so make sure you bring a pen! 📚🐛

This will be an afternoon of exploration and discovery as we delve into the world of native plants and mushrooms right here in our local eco systems. We will be discussing the edibility, toxicity, and medicinal properties of many different plants and fungi so you may want to bring a notepad and your camera so you can snap some photos.

We always say that the best way to build a confident and reciprocal relationship with the plants and fungi around, is to get out there and start getting some field experience. These walks are a fantastic opportunity for folks to deepen their understanding, ask questions, and gain confidence. We hope you always go home feeling empowered!

While the event is free, we gratefully accept donations to support our efforts in organizing more of these engaging plant walks that we love offering to the community. Your contributions help us continue to provide educational and inspiring experiences for all attendees.
